Nancy Sasaki, President and CEO of the United Way of San Diego County, is joined by Rebekah J. Hook-Held, Chief Public Affairs & Civic Engagement Officer for the San Diego LGBT Community Center, and Maggie Ramsberger, Chief, Agency Operations Integrative Services Division of the County of San Diego’s Health and Human Services Agency, to discuss the importance of ensuring that all populations are counted in the 2020 Census. Ramsberger, Hook-Held and Sasaki chat about the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition’s work to provide free tax preparation for low-income families that resulted in eligible households receiving more than $47 million in federal and tax refunds.
