Greg Schuett, Vice President of the San Diego County Outdoor Education Foundation (SDCOEF), discusses how the Foundation raises funds to provide scholarships to families who cannot afford to send their child to the hallowed Cuyamaca Outdoor School (COS). Schuett is joined by Kris Pamintuan, Principal of COS, and Dustin Burns, COS Project Specialist, to talk about the importance of the outdoor education experience. The 75-year old COS is under the auspices of the San Diego County Office of Education and is located in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park.
