Marques McCammon, a highly acclaimed mechanical engineer, was recently named President of Ricardo, Inc., a global leader in providing vehicle and intelligent transportation systems, along with hybrid and electric systems for transportation, defense and clean energy. McCammon talks about the opening of a Ricardo, Inc. office in Carlsbad and the impact his company will have on the region in terms of economic and technological growth, and “green” stewardship.

This country and surely the world would be a better place if more companies were environmentally conscious. As a new resident of San Diego County and a retired educator I am excited to hear of a company expanding with an eye on securing, young domestic talent in the area. This generation needs hope and opportunity.
